Welcome, Patriots!

I would like to introduce you to the most patriotic blog on the interwebs.  The idea for this blog came about in a discussion circle which took place in an unfinished basement in Platteville, Wisconsin.  A few beers were drank and a lot of cigarettes were lit, but clearheadedness prevailed and many important issues were analyzed and discussed.  Out of the patriotic haze that surrounded us that eventful evening, came the very ideals, the foundation, of what this blog will stand for...Freedom, Liberty, Justice, Patriotism, and Reason.

This blog is not to be divisive, rather constructive and sensible.  The writers of this blog do not identify themselves with a certain political party.  The independent spirit of the blog is to analyze issues at the core and come up with a stance of our own, not subject to party influence.  Too often Americans will identify themselves with a political party and then cease to have an independent thought for the rest of their life.  This blog is to encourage educated discussion on tough issues, and to understand the pros and cons of each side.

This blog will be updated periodically with educated discussion on current issues with humor mixed in here and there.  I hope you enjoy this blog, and I encourage your participation.  It is my hope that TOGETHER we can become more educated on important issues through civil discussion.  As citizens of the greatest nation in the world, it is our duty to be thankful for what many have died to defend.  The best way to do this is to contribute.

America is not about dwelling on mistakes of the past.  It is a frontier.  Together we can go as far as we want to, there are no limits to what we can do.  To achieve this goal, we must become one nation with no teams.  E pluribis unum: Out of many, one.  Yes, we STILL can, America!

Your President,
Derack
